BIG Surprise

Kermit retired in December after many long years of working.  Having achieved world domination in global oil production with his reservoir modeling software he decided it was finally time to ride off into the sunset.  And Sandy packed away her stenograph for good this year.  The boys threw them a surprise retirement party, and a good time was had by all.  They were both surprised and floated around all night with smiles glued to their faces.

Noah's First Ice Skating - 2010 December 011

Over the Christmas break we went ice skating.  It was Noah’s first time to skate, and Gabriel’s first time to watch.  Noah really enjoyed himself.  It took a bit for him and Robyn to get the hang of it, but after their boots got tightened, things went much better.  By the end, Noah was practically ready for a game of hockey.  He found a method that worked great for him.  If you watch the video, you’ll see  that he ice skates like he’s riding a scooter.  Chris experienced his first time ice skating like a pro.  He only fell once, and that was at the end of the day.  I’m sure it was because his legs were so tired from zipping around the ice.

Gabriel's Christmas Program - 2010 005

Gabriel’s Christmas program at his school was in December.  His class sang Jingle Bells.  And they jingled jingle bells.  That was his favorite part.  Gabriel LOVES to sing.  But honestly, his favorite part was the cookie at the end.  Ms. Robyn’s class sang Jingle Bells and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  Everyone did great!
