The Hail Storm
We had a hail storm this week. It was crazy. Imagine a heavy rain storm, only it’s not rain — it’s hail. Watch…

Gabriel got to go in the swing for the first time yesterday. He liked it well enough, but what he liked the most was when Noah would stand where he could see him to push. Gabriel thinks Noah is the funniest thing on the planet. That works out well since Noah thinks Noah is the funniest thing on the planet.
Well, it’s picture time again. Noah is 4 and Gabriel is 6 months, so we marked the occasion with pictures. The boys did a great job and made it really hard to narrow down, but here are a few of the choices for you to see.

Noah and I had a good time making his cake. In the end, I think it turned out. He had “magic” candles. However, only one of them actually re-lit itself after being blown out. Thank goodness it did, because Noah has been talking about the “magic” candles all week. I think he might have cried if it hadn’t worked.
The three kids and the dads got to go have some fun in the arcade. Noah got a Hot Wheels case. He really liked the fact that the hub cap spins.
Mmmm… cake. There’s nothing like a nice bowling ball cake. Noah loved his Thomas Lego set. He’s “going to play with it every day when he wakes up.”
Abby enjoyed bowling. This was her first time to bowl without the ramp. Kase enjoyed the blowers.
Here’s our self portrait we took while making Noah’s birthday cake this year. Yummy.
Well, the birthday party week has begun. We had lunch at Pecan Street Station Deli and Grill in Pflugerville today to celebrate Megan’s birthday. It has become an annual tradition to go out to lunch with her and her in-laws for her birthday. The Parsons’ are very thoughtful and always bring the kids a little gift. They are so sweet. This is the first of three birthday celebrations in our small group. We have Noah’s party this weekend for his 4th birthday. Kaiden’s 5th birthday party is next weekend.
The boys had a blast playing with their wind-up Easter bunnies and balloons. Kase enjoyed a little lunch with the grown-ups.
Gabriel got to sit in a high chair for the first time. He enjoyed it for a little bit, but after a while, he really wanted it to be a recliner. He’s not so sure about sitting up yet. He’s definitely a lounger. He did like the noise-maker that the Parsons’ brought for him and Kase.
Wow! It’s amazing what a difference hair makes. Here are pictures of each of the boys at 6 months. I had a hard time trying to find “matching” pictures. Unfortunately, Gabriel refuses to smile for the camera. Every time he sees it he stops what he’s doing to try and figure out how to get his hands on the camera. As you see, I didn’t have that problem with Noah. Apparently, he’s always been a ham for the camera. I guess things don’t change much.
