Utah Ski Trip: Day 2

Most of the crew took the day off from skiing.  Steve and Jalyn needed the break, and Robyn woke up feeling pretty sick, so we tabled Noah’s skiing expedition until tomorrow.  Fortunately, Robyn started feeling much better by mid-afternoon, and the weather outlook for tomorrow looks even better than it did today.  Luke and I still spent most of the day on the slopes, though.

This afternoon, Noah took me to see the snowman that he built.  If you look carefully, you can make out his three-tiered body and tree stick for a nose.  The snow here doesn’t stick together very well — I guess this is what you would call dry snow (not that Texans know anything about it).  Noah was obsessed with “chopping” the snow.  The first few times he said that, I was a little confused.  I eventually realized that it refers to his obsession with jumping into and messing up every single pristine mound of snow that he comes across.  Watch the video below for some examples…

  1. Amy Said,

Wow! That looks fun AND cold! We’re going to have to take a winter trip sometime!
