Gabriel’s First UT Football Game
We took Gabriel to his first Longhorn football game this weekend. He is almost six weeks old. As he does with most things, he slept through the majority of the game. We just put some cotton balls in his ears (which kept falling out), stuck a hat on him, and bundled him up. We had a great time. Who wouldn’t at a game like that? We just passed the baby around between us and people who sit around us. He even had two feedings and three diaper changes right there in my lap. That was way easier than taking him down to the restroom would have been.
Robert swears that he is perfectly comfortable holding Gabriel, but I’m not so sure. Ma had the luxury of the harness carrier.
Here’s our little Longhorn in training. I brought a UT hat with us, but it just wouldn’t stay on.
Gabriel liked the lights at the stadium more than anything else. If his eyes were open, he was staring at them.
Gabriel wasn’t convinced that having his ears covered was a good thing. He would much rather have just listened to the noise at full volume.
