Noah and Chris took a trip to Fiesta Texas on Saturday. Chris’s work rented the whole place out for their annual company picnic, so the crowds were small and the lines short.

Of course, the very best part of the park were all the opportunities for train rides. We rode the big train three different times (and that still wasn’t enough…).

Here’s Noah doing his best impression of a commercial for super white teeth strips:

The carousel and ferris wheel were also big hits. Noah was quite intrigued with how the animals on the carousel actually moved up and down. He promptly explained to me how his horse was able to move and why mine wasn’t designed to do the same.

On our third train trip, we ran into our friend Grace.

Noah the engineer waving to the children. This ride was one that Noah could ride all by himself.

Today we went out for our first play date with friends. We went to Extreme Fun with Kaiden, Kase, Abby, Riley, and Reese. We managed to get all but the babies in to one car. What a trip! Before Noah would get into the car, he had to make sure that there was a place for “his baby”. After a little convincing that we would not leave Gabriel behind, he conceded and got in. It was a rather pleasant car ride, surprisingly.
While we were waiting on the others to get here, Noah was looking out the window in his playroom. Rather than leave Gabriel by the stairs to wait, Noah took it upon himself to drag Gabriel’s car seat over to the window so he could “watch” too. Ahhhh, how sweet.

Well, we have a house full of love these days. Noah is totally infatuated with his brother right now. When Gabriel cries, Noah will ask him, “What’s the matter Little Buddy?” It’s very cute.
Noah likes to hold his brother whenever he gets the chance. He is very helpful. He helps dress Gabriel. He gets the pacifier, burp cloths, blankets, etc… whenever Gabriel needs them.
Noah is a very good big brother.

Gabriel got to spend some time with his new best friends. Here are the pictures of his first play dates. Dalton is 2 days older than Gabriel and Kase is 6 weeks older. I’m sure they’ll have lots of fun in years to come.

Welcome to the new Graf Home blog! All of our original content has been migrated over, but the new site affords us with more flexibility to customize things to your (and our) liking. Check out the “Email Subscriptions” link to sign up for email notifications of new postings (provided via FeedBurner). Also, check out the PICNet page for up-to-the-minute temperature readings from the Graf backyard shed (that Texas weather can be a bit volatile, you know).
And of course, new pictures of our newly expanded family will be coming soon (after Robyn finally kicks me out of the office so that she can get on the computer).

Noah welcomed Gabriel home in our front yard by the stork.

Two things Noah loves are trains and being a big brother.

Turns out babies sleep a lot.

Here are some more pictures of Gabriel from the hospital.

Gabriel bought Noah a special big brother gift — a new Thomas train.
